China Foundry Equipment Safety Standard

All the mandatory clauses in the current nine mandatory national standards for foundry machinery have been integrated, streamlined and revised into one mandatory standard, namely GB 20905 “Safety Requirements for Casting Machinery”.

To formulate/revise a batch of recommended standards supporting the “Safety Requirements for Foundry Machinery” to guide specific products to achieve intrinsic safety, so it is now planned to include 8 special mandatory standards for original products (GB 28759-2012 Safety of clay sand mixers) Requirements, GB 25491-2010 Safety Requirements for Molding Machines, GB 25492-2010 Safety Requirements for Shattering Machines, GB 24390-2009 Safety Requirements for Shot (Blasting) Equipment, GB 20906-2007 Safety Technical Requirements for Die Casting Units, GB 24391-2009 Low Pressure Casting Machine Safety Requirements, GB 21501-2008 Cupola and Cupola Feeding Machine Safety Requirements, GB 25683-2010 Ladle Safety Requirements) recommended clauses, converted and revised into recommended standards.
