The comprehensive mechanical properties of 7075 alloy wheel parts in as cast and T6 states by rheo squeeze casting were studied and analyzed. It was found that the plasticity of as cast parts was excellent. After T6 heat treatment, the strength of the parts was significantly improved, but the plasticity decreased significantly. Figure 1 shows the comparison of the average tensile strength, yield strength, hardness and elongation after fracture of the as cast and T6 specimens. The comparison of tensile stress-strain curves between as cast and T6 states of 7075 alloy by rheo extrusion is shown in Fig. 2.
