In recent years, the domestic pump and valve casting industry has developed rapidly, but there are still many problems in its development. Due to the long-term price war in the domestic pump and valve industry, the pump and valve industry has been hovering at the middle and low level of the world pump and valve industry for a long time. Therefore, China’s pump and valve industry must start from changing the mode of competition and change its weak state.
Although China’s valve casting industry has developed rapidly in recent years, the overall level of the industry is still low, the product technology content is low, and many key valves with high parameters still rely on imports. Some experts estimate that China’s valve level is 10 ~ 20 years behind that of foreign advanced countries.
There are still many casting defects in quality management in China. Firstly, it is more or less ignored in technology. Many enterprises clearly have quality assurance system, but they do not pay attention to it in practical work, and the implementation of quality management is very inadequate; Secondly, it is not strict in the assembly process. Another example is the backward production equipment, which has remained at the level of the 1970s to 1980s. Some are limited to funds and are also adding numerical control and machining centers in succession, but there are not many enterprises forming numerical control machining in the industry, accounting for only about 20%.
From these two points of view, there is a huge gap between China and foreign countries. This gap is not only equipment, but also the concept from acquisition to innovation. Otherwise, it is impossible for the pump and valve casting industry to grow up only by introduction.
