What is a ball valve?
Ball valve is a kind of liquid level measurement and control product. It is composed of several main parts such as valve body, piston, connecting rod and floating ball. The principle of lever is applied to make the valve unblocked or blocked. In the simplest way, it’s like the flush toilet used at home. The water supply device used on it is this structure.
Difference between ball valve and float valve:
Ball valve is a kind of valve, which means that the valve core (sealing part) of the valve is a ball type structure, which is applied in the pipeline to cut off the air flow or water flow; the floating ball valve is because one end of the switch lever is a hollow sealing ball, which can automatically control the switch of the valve through the liquid buoyancy. There is a big difference between words.
Working principle of ball valve:
Float ball valve float is always floating on the water, when the water rises, float also rises. When the water level of the water tank is low, the floating ball will drop with the water level, and the piston in the valve body will be pulled outward through the connecting rod of the fixed floating ball, so that there will be a void between the valve body and the piston, and the tap water can enter the water tank; when the water level of the water tank reaches the set height, the force generated by the floating ball rising with the water level will push the piston in the valve body to the valve body through the connecting rod, because the top of the piston is installed with a dense The sealing rubber gasket and the water outlet in the valve body are relatively flat and smooth. When the buoyancy of the floating ball exceeds the tap water pressure, the piston installed with the sealing rubber gasket and the water outlet in the valve body are tightly sealed, and the tap water is also closed by the floating ball valve.
Ball valve function: control the water level of water pool or water tank not to exceed a certain set value, and the valve can only be opened within a set period of time.
The ball valve is applicable to the reservoir system in the tap water supply network. When the water consumption peak is avoided, the inlet valve of the reservoir is opened to reduce the pressure of the water supply network. The valve can only be opened when the water consumption is low.
