Improvement Effect of Casting Process for Steel Castings of Guideway

After the improvement and optimization of the process, 4 boxes/4 pieces of trial production were carried out. After the dissection of the 2 guide rail steel castings produced by the improved process, the anatomical results showed that the cross-sectional structure was dense and the shrinkage defects were completely eliminated; The remaining 2 steel castings have been scribed and their deformation has been well controlled. After machining, the overall structure and dimensions of the guide rail steel castings meet the design requirements of the drawings. Currently, the guide rail has been successfully assembled on a certain type of equipment, as shown in the figure for the surface quality of the guide rail after machining. On this basis, batch production was conducted, and after delivery to the next machining sequence and vehicle assembly verification, the vehicle design requirements were met.

Explored and researched the casting and forming process of large and complex frame structure steel castings, and developed large frame structure steel casting guide rail castings. The research results have accumulated certain technical experience for the future development of such steel castings, filled a technical gap in the factory, broke through the key technology of casting and forming high-end steel castings for large frame structure in the industry, and achieved the transformation of factory outsourced parts from outsourcing to independent research and development The strategic adjustment of production change, R&D, and batch production has increased the in-house production rate of a complete equipment vehicle, thereby reducing manufacturing costs, and improving operational effectiveness.
