5T electric arc furnace is used to smelt the molten steel of motor housing steel castings. The steel-making materials are mainly scrap steel, alloy, lime, iron ore and other materials. The smelting process of motor housing steel castings is divided into scrap melting period, oxidation period and reduction period. The chemical composition of molten steel is controlled according to the table. The smelting process is shown in the figure.
② Pouring process
The casting of the steel castings of the motor case is manually poured by leaking the ladle. The pouring temperature of the steel castings of the motor case is controlled at 1580-1590 degrees, the pouring time is (25-40) seconds / box, and 13 boxes of molten steel are poured for each ladle.
