With its unique advantages and huge development potential, 3DP technology has attracted the attention of many enterprises. 3DP technology has the advantages of design and manufacturing integration, high flexibility, shortening the development cycle of new products and reducing the cost of research and development.
The process of producing a shell using 3DP technology is shown in Figures 1 to 6. Among them, Figure 1 is the casting process design scheme, Figure 2 is the process simulation using the casting simulation software, Figure 3 is the sand mold parting and virtual manufacturing, Figure 4 is the sand mold printing, Figure 5 is the box casting, and Figure 6 is the casting produced using 3D printing technology.
