The basic types and connotation of sand casting process parameters. The sand casting process design parameters are expressed by PDP. According to the different attributes of process parameters, the three types of process parameters can be described and defined as follows:
Definition 1: independent process parameters of sand casting: the parameters that can be directly determined by product drawing and enterprise production process conditions in the process design of sand casting are called independent process parameters of sand casting, which are expressed by IP, such as wall thickness, draft angle, machining allowance and other process parameters.
Definition 2: sand casting coupling process parameters: the parameters that can be determined only based on other determined process parameters in the process design of sand casting are called sand casting coupling process parameters, which are expressed by CP, such as casting temperature, cooling time and other process parameters.
Definition 3: inherent attribute process parameters of sand casting: the parameters that determine the material properties in the process design of sand casting are called inherent attribute process parameters of sand casting, which are expressed by IAP, such as metal brand, molding sand type and other process parameters.
