Calculation model of mold support damping for centrifugal casting machine

The normal damping between single ball and raceway is as follows:

Where α is the half width of the Hertz contact ellipse. The damping at each rolling element is obtained by connecting the rolling element in series with the oil film damping CIN and con of the inner and outer rings

The radial damping of rolling bearing is obtained by the parallel damping between each roller and ring

After obtaining the stiffness and damping of a single roller support, it is equivalent to the horizontal direction and the vertical direction respectively, as shown in the figure
