1.Manual core making (clay sand, synthetic grease, resin sand)
Manual core making is suitable for simple and small batch castings. The surface roughness and dimension accuracy are poor, and the efficiency is low.
2.Hot box core making (6kg, 12kg, 25kg, 40kg, 100kg)
Hot core box core making is a kind of core making method that injects the mixed hot core sand (or coated sand) into the hot core box mold through the hot core box core shooter, keeps the temperature at 220-260 ℃ for a period of time, and then takes out the finished sand core by opening the mold.
At present, hot box core making is widely used in many fields. Almost all sand cores can be made with it. The sand core has high strength, good surface roughness, dimensional accuracy and high efficiency.
3.Shell core box core making
Shell core box core making is a kind of core making method that injects the finished coated sand into the shell core box mold through the shell core machine. After the surrounding hard shell of about 8mm is formed, rotate, pour out the remaining sand, keep the temperature at 220-260 ℃ for a period of time, and then open the mold to take out the finished sand core.
Shell core box core making is also widely used, mainly used in simple, circular sand cores. The sand core has high strength, good surface roughness, dimensional accuracy and high efficiency.
4.Cold box core making
Cold box core making is a core making method that injects the mixed cold core sand into the cold core box through the cold core box core shooter, and then blows the gas (triethylamine or sulfur dioxide) to solidify. Because it solidifies under normal temperature, it is called cold box core making.
Cold box core making is the most widely used way of core making at present. Almost all sand cores can be made with it. The sand core has high strength, good surface roughness, dimensional accuracy and high efficiency. The gas generation of sand core is low and its collapsibility is good.
