Due to the limitation of level and time, there are still some work need to be further studied and improved, and some valuable research directions need to be further explored
(1) The “translational pressure solidification method” of squeeze casting has not been compared and summarized. In the future, the different characteristics between the method and other additive solidification methods will be studied, and the improvement suggestions will be put forward, which will be popularized and applied to industrial production.
(2) Through the design and development of the special squeeze casting die, the function of secondary cavity extrusion (forging) can be carried out. There is no further research and exploration in this paper, and the subsequent research can focus on the influence of the combination of squeeze casting and forging on the properties of semi-solid alloy melt.
(3) In view of the two essential problems of rheoforming, i.e. intergranular segregation and embrittlement defects, combined with the defects found in the process of heat treatment experiments, the mechanism of the formation of primary melting holes is mainly studied, and the laws of primary melting are recognized, so as to avoid or reduce the influence of primary melting holes on the mechanical properties of the parts. By adding trace alloy elements, multi-stage solid solution and aging, adjusting the microstructure of the alloy, exploring the influence of primary melt porosity, precipitate phase and dispersion phase on the comprehensive mechanical properties of the alloy, and establishing the strengthening and toughening mechanism of the variable deformation alloy under the condition of rheo squeeze casting will also be the key direction of the follow-up research.
