1. Static structural analysis
Finite element static structural analysis is carried out for the box type and deep cavity type frames respectively. The same parameters are used to mesh and load the frames of the two structures. The deformation, stress and strain of the two structures under the worst working conditions are simulated and analyzed. The stress and deformation diagram is shown in Figure 1.
The results of static analysis show that the maximum deformation, stress and strain are very similar. In addition, even in the worst condition of broken granite, the stress and deformation do not reach the material limit, indicating that the two structures can meet the use requirements.
2. Modal analysis
The vibration of the equipment exists at different working speeds. If it coincides with the natural frequency of the equipment, it will have a serious impact on its service and life.
The first six modal frequencies of the two structural schemes are shown in Table 2, and the frame deformation of the second modal is shown in Figure 2. The results of modal analysis show that: at the set working speed, the crushers of both structures deviate from their upper and lower modal frequencies, that is, they can avoid resonance risk.
