<p style=”text-align: left;”><em><strong>Stainless steel castings</strong></em> are being used widely in modern production and life. Therefore, more and more enterprises have manufactured the kind of products gradually. Though, there’re still some technical issues, which often affect quality level of the stainless steel castings during production. Then, how we shall improve these qualities?</p>

For the purpose of reducing chilling, in addition to taking effective measures in technique, the overall wall thickness couldn’t be too thin in the process of manufacturing stainless steel castings. Supposing that the wall thickness is above 15mm, the corner parts shall be filleted.</p>
<p style=”text-align: left;”>II. In order to facilitate taking out castings and moulds, the cast slopes of stainless steel castings shall be set to larger than that of sand mould castings, which shall be enlarged by 30%-50%.</p>
<p style=”text-align: left;”>III. Because of losing its heat quickly, the minimum wall thicknesses of stainless steel castings shall be much thicker than that of sand mould castings.</p>
<p style=”text-align: left;”>IV. Generally speaking, the thicknesses of internal part and rib of stainless steel casting shall be taken in 0.6-0.7 of the one of external part adjacent to the former. Otherwise, in the shrinkage of these stainless steel castings, the junction will easily appear crack due to internal parts cooling slowly.</p>
