Lost foam casting technology for bimetallic liner

Combined with the coupling theory of liquid metal solidification, heat and mass transfer and thermal structure finite element, the lost foam casting technology of modified high chromium cast iron / carbon steel bimetallic liner was studied by using the comprehensive strengthening method of modification and heating treatment, and through the test and mechanism analysis of metallographic structure and mechanical properties. The specific research methods are as follows:

  1. the composite modifier composed of rare earth ferro cinnamon, silicon calcium alloy and a small amount of low melting point metal particles was used to improve the microstructure and mechanical properties of wear-resistant high chromium cast iron;
  2. the design platform of lost foam casting process parameters is built by using c\\o-object language, and the full three-dimensional design of lost foam composite process is applied;
  3. the coupling analysis technology of temperature field and stress field in ANSYS is used to carry out numerical simulation research and process parameter optimization in the forming process of bimetal materials;
  4. using UG CAM technology to numerically process the lining plate foam pattern, and adopting the lost foam casting process to carry out the trial production of the composite lining plate of hypoid steel and high chromium cast iron at three different intervals;
  5. for the material samples before and after the heat treatment of the composite lining plate, the multi-functional mechanical testing machine, optical microscope, scanning electron microscope and diffraction analysis are used to analyze the metallographic structure, mechanical properties and mechanism;
  6. through the field installation test of a small batch of composite liners, the service comparison effect between the composite liners and the original low alloy steel liners was investigated under the full working conditions of the ball mill, and the microstructure and mechanism analysis of the samples of the liner materials after the test were studied.
