By comparing and analyzing the forming processes of horizontal forging and vertical forging, it is found that the processing time of different types of forging knuckle is not different, and the horizontal forging has more advantages in forging efficiency, energy consumption, line drawing benchmark, processing quality, etc; The internal control of the processing size of the forging knuckle traction table can ensure that the deformation size of the traction table is within the tolerance range after the forging knuckle heat treatment, and ensure the qualified rate of the forged knuckle.
At present, F type and CQ type forged coupler knuckle are installed on export freight cars respectively. After application test, forged coupler knuckle has a service life much longer than cast coupler knuckle, which is highly recognized by users. On this basis, the 16D forged coupler knuckle suitable for China has been developed and is now under test.
