By analyzing the simulation results, the rationality ofprocess scheme is judged, and the optimized process scheme is the ultimate goal of sand mold simulation. According to the simulation results of sand mold casting filling process, the possible defects in the pouring process are predicted, and then the pouring system of the original process scheme is improved; Analyze the simulation results of temperature field and stress field in the solidification process, and optimize the feeding system and chilling system of the original process scheme. After the optimized process scheme is completed, numerical simulation needs to be carried out again to judge the rationality of the new process scheme. If the castings produced by the optimized process still have serious defects, the process scheme needs to be improved twice. After simulation analysis, it is repeated many times until the defects of sand mold casting are basically eliminated and the casting quality meets the technical requirements.
(1) According to the simulation results of the original process scheme, an optimized sand mold casting process scheme is proposed: the gating system of the original scheme is improved, the number of upper inner sprues is increased, cold iron and subsidies are added on the basis of the original scheme, and the ordinary riser used in the original scheme is changed into thermal insulation riser, and the end face of the riser is smashed and sprayed with thermal insulation agent.
(2) ProCAST is used to simulate and analyze the optimized process scheme again. According to the simulation results, the optimized scheme is determined, which effectively eliminates the sand mold casting defects of the mud pump body and makes it meet the technical requirements.
