The chemical composition and mechanical properties of steel castings shall comply with the relevant provisions of General technology Conditions for Delivery and Acceptance of Steel Castings (GB/T 40805-2021). The mechanical properties of the welding rod or wire used for repair welding of steel casting components should be at least equivalent to that of the base metal.

Welding protective gas should comply with the provisions of ISO 14175:2008, and its type and composition ratio should be clearly identified. The oxygen used for welding and cutting should comply with the provisions of GB/T 3863-2008 “Industrial Oxygen”.
