Shape factor of graphite ball in cylinder block of nodular cast iron plunger pump

The shape factors of graphite balls in three parts of lzqt600-3 ductile iron profile were analyzed by Excel and Image J software. The results are shown in the figure. It can be seen from figure (a) that the graphite sphere shape factor at the edge of the section of lzqt600-3 ductile iron profile is mainly concentrated in the larger shape factor range, accounting for 59.58% between 0.7 and 1.0, and the average shape factor of this part is 0.724; from figure (b), the distribution of graphite ball shape factor at 1 / 2R section is similar to that at the edge, accounting for 42.36% between 0.7 and 1.0, and the average shape factor of this part is 0.672; According to figure (c), the shape factor of graphite spheres in the center of the section is between 0.7 and 1.0, accounting for 44.585%, and the average shape factor is 0.660. It can be concluded that the shape of the graphite ball at the edge is round and the spheroidization effect is the best.
