The manufacturing of motor shell steel castings is relatively complex, mainly including sand casting, smelting and pouring, heat treatment, flaw detection, processing and other processes. The production cycle is long and there are many processes.
ZHY casting adopts furan resin sand process to produce motor shell steel castings. Furan resin refers to the general name of resins produced with furfural alcohol and furfural with furan ring as raw materials, which are solidified into insoluble and non molten solids under the action of strong acid; Furan self hardening resin curing agent adopts sulfonic acid curing agent, which is a sulfonate solution made of toluene and xylene through sulfonation.

The molding and core making process equipment mainly includes 20t automatic sand mixer, surface drying furnace, motor shell metal mold, sand box, etc. See Figures 1 and 2.
