Test results and analysis of mechanical properties of cast impeller

According to the technical requirements, the mechanical properties test mainly includes hardness and tensile properties.

1. Hardness test

After solution treatment, the hardness of the cast impeller blade and rim was measured by hb-3000 Brinell hardness tester; The diameter of the indenter is 5mm and the load is 750KG. Three hardness tests shall be conducted for each sample, and the average value shall be taken as the final result. See Table 1.

2. Tensile property test

After the plum blossom test bar is poured with the furnace and heat treated, it is processed into a standard tensile test bar as shown in the figure for performance test.

The tensile properties of the materials were tested on gne-10 universal tensile testing machine according to gb228-87. The measured mechanical properties at room temperature are listed in Table 2. Through the analysis of Table 2, it can be seen that the mechanical properties of the cast impeller meet the standard requirements of the casting, the data are uniform and stable, and the dispersion is small. It is worth mentioning that since the sample is taken from the thick plum blossom test bar, the data obtained is relatively low, and the actual strength and plasticity data of the cast impeller with thin wall are higher.
