In order to effectively analyze the comprehensive benefits of carbon emission, production time and resource cost of foundry enterprises, the carbon benefit model is introduced through the established quantitative model of carbon emission, production time and resource cost under the influence of process design characteristics, as shown in the following formula:

Where: 𝑇 𝐶 represents the carbon benefit of the process scheme; 𝛼 represents the weighting factor of carbon emission; 𝛽 represents the weighting factor of production time; 𝜇 represents the weighting factor of resource cost. According to different production plans and objectives of enterprises, the meaning of carbon benefit is different. The value of the weighting factor needs to be determined according to the production priority of the casting enterprise.
