Cast steel cable clamp casting mold making and modeling

The casting die is made by lost foam casting, and the foam model is combined with the model. The foam model is built by three-dimensional modeling and programming, and is processed by numerical control machine. According to the drawing requirements, the 20, 15 and 20mm machining allowance of the cable ropeway foam model is set at the ropeway, the lower surface and the upper surface, and the shrinkage is calculated by 2%. After the foam model is made, the TOMS measuring system software and the manual measurement method are adopted to strictly check the length, thickness, angle and machining allowance of the steel cable clamp die.

After applying alcohol based zircon powder refractory coating, dry it with natural gas, and gently polish the flow marks and uneven places with sandpaper. It is embedded in quartz sand for vibration molding. When filling sand, the thickness of molding sand filled each time is ≤ 300mm; During sand filling, head sand, tailing sand and recycled sand shall not be used as surface sand. When pounding sand, do not hit the model, and the cold iron shall be placed according to the process requirements. Before closing the box, use the air duct to blow away the residual sand in the sprue, riser and mold cavity. Asbestos rope shall be used on the parting surface to prevent molten steel leakage. A gate basin (cup) with 200kg molten steel shall be placed on the top of the sprue and the sand box shall be covered. The special ceramic gate pipe is used for pouring under negative pressure, and the box is made after solidification and cooling.
