The China Foundry Association hosted the evaluation and promotion meeting of the scientific and technological achievements of “R&D and application of robot fully automatic precision casting shell production line” completed by AVIC Engineering Integration Equipment Co., Ltd. in Zhenjiang New District, Jiangsu Province. In order to continuously improve the intelligent manufacturing level of precision casting shell preparation in China’s casting industry, and solve the problems of poor working environment for shell preparation, high labor intensity of workers leading to difficult recruitment and other problems, AVIC Engineering Integration Equipment Co., Ltd. took advantage of the opportunity of the project of the automatic shell production line for precision casting of Hangfa Premium Materials (Zhenjiang) Titanium Alloy Precision Molding Co., Ltd., and carried out the preparation of large size and complex structure shell, and the continuous production of multiple types of shell mixed lines The first large-scale “robot fully automatic precision casting shell production line” in China has been developed by tackling key technologies such as mold shell quality detection, which has solved the problems of customers’ complex types of precision casting products, multiple batches and difficult process control, realized the full automation of precision casting shell preparation and production, improved the consistency and stability of precision casting quality, and shortened the manufacturing cycle by 30% compared with traditional manual mold shell preparation, It meets the production needs of customers for mixed production of various precision casting products and flexible logistics transportation. At present, the company has more than 30 sets of “robot fully automatic precision casting shell production line” application performance in different industries and enterprises, and has formed a good reputation among industry users. Now the China Foundry Association will evaluate the scientific and technological achievements of the project.

The members of the expert group of the evaluation committee visited the production site, listened to the work summary report, technical summary report and other reports of the project team, and reviewed the evaluation information provided by the project unit. After inquiry and discussion, the experts agreed that:

1.The evaluation information provided by the project is complete and the data is detailed, which meets the evaluation requirements.

2.The “robot fully automatic precision casting shell production line” has been developed to achieve the goals of automatic operation of investment casting shell preparation, whole-process quality monitoring, product quality consistency, production efficiency, yield improvement, and so on, and the casting production requirements of environmental protection, green, and energy conservation have been met.

The project has achieved the following innovative results:

(1) The first fully automatic shell making line for super-large robots in China has carried out the design of tooling and disk assembly scheme and suspension chain transportation logistics path under the conditions of multiple varieties and large space, which has met the production capacity and production rhythm required by the process, and effectively guaranteed the continuous and stable production of products.

(2) Through the automatic shell preparation control technology under the multi-robot cooperation working mode, the requirements of mixed line process control are met, the production line is less human and intelligent, and the consistency of shell preparation quality is improved.

(3) The intelligent operation control system of “robot fully automatic precision casting shell production line” has been independently developed. Through the system integration of 9 modules, including multi-robot cooperation control and sand pouring and floating machine control, the intelligent, digital and visual mold shell preparation production has been realized.

3.The dust emission during the operation of the “robot automatic precision casting shell production line” meets the national air pollutant emission standard, and the dust concentration in the working environment of the production site meets the provisions of the national occupational health standards.
