The sand casting process plan was trial produced (as shown in Fig. 1). The X-ray flaw detection results are shown in Fig. 2. The detection results show that the sand casting has dense internal structure, no shrinkage cavity, porosity and defects beyond the standard. The quality of the sand casting meets the requirements. The trial production results are consistent with the numerical simulation results of the sand casting process. The trial production results show that the sand casting process plan and process parameters are reasonable and feasible.
