Simulation and Analysis of Solidification of Ductile Iron Casting in Low Pressure Inner Cylinder of Thermal Power Plant

After the determination of the ductile iron casting process plan, establish a three-dimensional model, and use the MAGMA solidification simulation software to simulate the temperature field during the mold filling and solidification process of the ductile iron castings, predict whether the mold filling is stable and the tendency of shrinkage and porosity defects, etc. The purpose is to verify and continuously optimize the ductile iron casting process plan through the feedback of the simulation results. The mold filling and solidification simulation process is shown in the figure.
